MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

PRESIDENT
Paul Schneider
Vice President and Trust Relationship Manager, US Bank
Paul is the Vice President and Trust Relationship Manager for U.S Bank Private Client Group. He is responsible for administration of trusts and agency accounts for individuals, non-profit endowment funds, charitable trusts, gift annuities and private foundations. Previous to his re-joining the private client group, he served in the same capacity at Bank of America Private Bank for 10 years. Paul is a CPA and has also earned his M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He maintains membership with the Washington Planned Giving Council and the Washington Society of CPA’s.

VICE PRESIDENT
Candace Grisdale
DocuSign, Inc.
Candace works for DocuSign, Inc., an emerging growth company, expanding their partner ecosystem programs. Prior to working for DocuSign, she was Vice-President of Sales at another technology start-up company, and also spent 15 years at Microsoft leading international sales teams responsible for building partnerships with other large corporations.  Candace graduated from Whitman College and studied at Seattle Pacific University in the MBA program. She enjoys spending time with middle school and high school kids, as an adult mentor, through an assortment of youth outreach organizations.

TREASURER
Gary Duim
Retired, Board member
Gary retired as Vice Chairman of U.S. Bancorp after 38 years in banking. He has been active in community affairs and currently serves s on the boards of World Vision and Medical Teams International.

SECRETARY
Jackie Kinunen
Retired, Board member
Jackie retired as a Vice President from Bank of America after 26 years in banking. She retired from the Kent School District after seven years as Office Manager. Active in community affairs, she served as President of the DAWN board, is a partner in Women of Vision and serves in her church as organist and Stephen Ministry Leader.

BOARD MEMBER
Jill Johnson
Retired, Community Volunteer
Jill is retired after having served in various management roles in local government. She has also consulted with and volunteered for several nonprofit organizations. She is currently volunteering in the office at Vision House, as well as on the Personnel Committee for the Presbyterian Church's Synod of Alaska Northwest. She has a Masters' degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University.

BOARD MEMBER
Ellen Rush
Community Volunteer
Ellen was formerly homeless. At 15 years old, Ellen became pregnant. After the baby was born, her father, a minister, threw Ellen out of the family home. Staying in school was difficult and she dropped out, putting her education on hold. She had no home, no family, no money and no path to a better life for herself and her son. Ellen found a home at a supportive, transitional housing program in Western Washington. She completed her high school diploma, became self-sufficient and is currently working full time and attending college with the dream of becoming a television reporter.

BOARD MEMBER
Rashelle Tanner
General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources, CRISTA Ministries
Rashelle serves as the General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources for CRISTA Ministries, a non-profit Christian employer with 1,800 employees nationally and overseas. She received her undergraduate degree from Howard University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Loren Miller Bar Association and has been admitted as a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.

BOARD MEMBER
Marianne Webber
Community Volunteer

Marianne has actively served in leadership roles as a community volunteer over the past 15 years, most recently as the Director of Women’s Ministries at Berean Bible Church and previously at North Seattle Alliance Church. She has also served two terms as auction chair for King’s Schools in North Seattle and has chaired all the fundraising events for Vision House Jacob’s Well for the past five years.
