Opportunities
Tutoring – Weekly and/or
monthly tutors are needed to work with kids who need
extra support in academics.
Weekly or
Monthly Short-Term Child Care - This person
provides child care one to four evenings a month
depending on their availability. The children range
from newborn to sixteen years old and are full of
energy and life. Activities include leading the children
in craft projects, tutoring, outdoor play and children’s
Bible study. Child care is also needed so that residents
are able to go on job interviews, attend classes
or 12-step programs, etc. On-call assistance is needed
for mothers with sick children that do not have sick
leave benefits with their employers.
Prayer Team - The prayer team consists of intercessors
that receive Vision House prayer requests via e-mail.
We are looking for people who will receive our prayer
requests and pray with a group of their friends, or
individually.
